About Us

Why Southgate Exists

Core Narrative

Southgate was created to help people facing real hardship—quietly, directly, and with dignity. There are moments when life narrows unexpectedly: illness, loss, age, displacement, or circumstances beyond control. In those moments, people don’t need speeches or systems. They need help.
Southgate exists for those moments.
We focus on individuals and families who need practical support—widows, the elderly, orphans, and those facing sudden or ongoing challenges. Help is given carefully, personally, and without public display.

How Southgate Works

There are no quotas, no publicity requirements, and no conditions placed on those receiving help. Requests change. Needs change. People move forward. Southgate adapts as circumstances evolve.

A Personal Commitment

Southgate is closely connected to Tony D’Urso, but it operates with its own purpose and integrity.

For years, support came primarily from personal means. Over time, it became clear that others wanted to help as well—quietly, respectfully, and meaningfully.

Southgate now provides a way for others to participate in that mission.

Not as donors seeking recognition—but as people choosing to help.

What Southgate Is Not

Southgate is not a large institution. Southgate is not a fundraising machine. Southgate does not chase visibility.

It is a focused effort to do real good, one situation at a time.

Sometimes the most meaningful help is the kind that isn’t loud.

That’s what Southgate is here to do.

The Southgate Foundation provides dignified, practical support to individuals and families facing hardship.
Help is given quietly, carefully, and with respect.
